Senate DFL Announces Record Raised to Start Critical Election Year and Maintains Commanding Cash-on-Hand

ST. PAUL, MN. — The Minnesota Senate DFL is proud to announce over $3,100,000 raised this cycle and $1,098,000 raised in 2026, prior to June 1, 2026. The YTD amount is nearly double what the caucus reported on the June 2022 report. The Senate DFL also reports more than $2,803,000 cash-on-hand. The Senate DFL is not wasting a moment as the caucus expands its efforts to run a robust, state-wide campaign to protect and expand the Senate DFL majority in November. The substantial fundraising comes a couple weeks after the Senate DFL announced a DFL candidate is running in every single district.
“The fight for Minnesota’s future is urgent and we’re all in,” said Majority Leader Erin Murphy. “We know people across the state are worried about their families and their futures. Every dollar contributed from increasingly tight family budgets, whether out of frustration or hope, is a gift that won’t be squandered. This campaign is a fight for people working longer hours or two jobs to pay for gas to get to work, childcare for their kids, the roof over their heads. They deserve the freedom to live safely and with ease. We’ve shown America that in Minnesota, we stand up for each other. Together we’ll build a stronger, brighter future for our state, for our kids, and each other.”
“The Senate DFL is in the strongest place it’s ever been,” said Campaign Chair Nick Frentz. “These funds will allow us to do what we said we’ll do — to go on offense. Senate DFLers are working hard to bring a message of fairness, togetherness, and prosperity to their districts and all Minnesotans. Thanks to everybody who donated to our caucus, including our many partners and stakeholders. We are proud that you have publicly joined with the Senate DFL to help us retain and expand our majority.”
