Sen. Judy Seeberger Releases First Campaign Ad of 2026, Highlighting Collaborative Work and Record of Accomplishments
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Highlights Record of Working Across the Aisle to Fight Fraud and Cut Taxes
AFTON, MN. — On Tuesday, Senator Judy Seeberger released the first digital ad of her 2026 reelection campaign, titled “When.”
Seeberger is connecting with Senate District 41 voters about her record of bipartisanship and prioritizing affordability for household budgets.
Seeberger, who has served as a firefighter-paramedic, volunteer first responder and a rescue diver, says she is also “on call” at the Capitol with a mission to serve the people of her district. Seeberger’s sense of duty and service to her constituents has meant working across the aisle on everything from fighting fraud against public programs to cutting taxes.
Seeberger, vice chair of the Senate Commerce and Consumer Protection Committee, was an outspoken advocate to cut taxes on Social Security, which put money back in the pockets of more than 300,000 Minnesota seniors. On the fight against fraud, Seeberger coauthored the creation of an independent Office of Inspector General to serve as a taxpayer watchdog to catch and prevent fraud. She also coauthored the law to add more investigators and prosecutors to the fight against Medicaid fraud, and toughen penalties for the criminals caught stealing from taxpayers.
Judy Seeberger puts her district first, not politics, and has delivered for her constituents. She is ready to keep fighting fraud, lowering costs, and keeping her community safe.
Transcript of “When”
When I’m on call, working together isn’t just a slogan.
It’s a matter of life or death.
I’m Judy Seeberger, and I ran for State Senate because politicians could learn a thing or two from first responders: fight less, do more.
That’s why I worked across the aisle to crack down on fraud and cut taxes to keep more money in your pocket.
Now I want to keep fighting to lower costs, for my family and yours.
Because when it comes to our communities, I’m always on call.
ABOUT JUDY SEEBERGER
Judy Seeberger represents Senate District 41, which includes the St. Croix Valley region in parts of Washington, Dakota and Ramsey counties. First elected to the Senate in 2022, Seeberger has focused on common sense solutions for the issues facing families, seniors and small business entrepreneurs. In her first year in office, Seeberger was the only member of the Senate to pass a bill with the support of every member in the chamber.
Seeberger helped lead her caucus on the largest aid package for emergency medical services in state history, an outgrowth of her experience as a first responder. She was also the chief author of “Amara’s Law,” the strongest prohibition in America against cancer-causing PFAS chemicals that have polluted drinking waters across the country, including in her district.
Outside of the Senate, Seeberger is an attorney, and previously was a small business owner and public school teacher. She and her husband Mike, a US Navy veteran, live in Afton and have two sons.
